Which countries would join Schengen zone?

The terms of decision making for new parties joining Schengen zone changed.

 

This event must have happened at a session of Schengen parties’ representatives on November 20. The place of the meeting has not been approved yet.

 

Nevertheless it is known that it is November 20 when the appropriate committee will sum up the readiness of Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Malta and Baltic countries to join the Schengen Agreement.

 

The document package for Hungary Schengen visa will be altered. In addition to Hungarian insurance policy the tourists will have to show a common Schengen area insurance.

 

A series of meetings devoted to joining the Schengen zone will be held in Moscow. On November 7-8 the consulate representatives of the intending countries will solve the problems with transit visas and document packages required for receiving short-term and long-term visas. The resume of the meetings will be announced in the next week.
